Sarah joined Hale Skemp in 2025 as a Litigation Paralegal after earning her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Western Technical College. Though new to the legal field, she brings a strong foundation in research and analysis, supported by her classical education and deep appreciation for the structure and nuance of legal work. Her academic background has helped her develop strong critical thinking skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving—both essential in the legal environment.

At Hale Skemp, Sarah works closely with attorneys and clients in several complex, client-focused practice areas, including Worker’s Compensation, Personal Injury, and Medical Malpractice. She assists with a wide range of tasks such as preparing case files, organizing documents, conducting legal research, and maintaining communication with clients throughout the legal process. Her goal is to help ensure that every case is handled with precision, compassion, and professionalism.

In these people-centered areas of law, Sarah’s genuine passion for helping others—combined with her curiosity and sharp attention to detail—makes her a valuable part of the legal team. She picks things up quickly and consistently puts in the effort to deliver high-quality work. Her ability to stay organized and focused allows her to thrive in the fast-paced, often high-pressure world of litigation.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking the scenic trails of the Driftless Area or kayaking the region’s rivers and lakes. She also loves cooking with her husband and trying out new recipes from different cuisines. Whether in the office or at home, Sarah brings thoughtfulness, energy, and a desire to keep learning and growing.
