Representative Experience

  • Successfully defended a client charge with Operating While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest by challenging the legality of the client’s arrest. Court agreed that the police officer had violated the client’s 4th and 14th Amendment rights prohibiting illegal seizures. The court dismissed all charges.
  • Successfully defended a client charged with obstructing a police officer. The court dismissed charges after a motion to dismiss was filed when the court agreed that the State lacked sufficient facts to justify the criminal complaint.
  • Recovered substantial damages, including coverage of all outstanding medical bills and recovery for client’s pain and suffering, following a motor vehicle accident. The client was rear-ended while stopped at a stop light, and was facing collection on various medical bills. Client’s credit history was saved by working with the collection agencies to hold off on legal action on outstanding bills while filing a demand of payment to the insurance carrier.
