Margaret "Peggy" Ahne Herlitzka works extensively in the areas of family and personal injury law and has been a partner with the firm since 1995. Peggy is a member of the Family Law and General Litigation Sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She has practiced in the Coulee Region since her graduation from Marquette Law School in 1989. She is also a graduate of the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Peggy has litigated hundreds of complicated issues involving complex family law matters including custody, placement, child support, spousal support, and property division issues. She has not only been an advocate for parents, but often for the children themselves through numerous court appointments. In addition to her private practice, Peggy serves as an Assistant Family Court Commissioner for La Crosse County and Supplemental Court Commissioner for Judge Elliott Levine.
Since she began practicing in the Coulee Region, Peggy has helped hundreds of injured persons to recover the damages due to them for their pain and suffering, medical costs, lost income and other compensation for which they are entitled.
In addition to her law practice, Peggy takes an active role in the Coulee Region and State, evidenced by the many professional associations and community groups with which she has been affiliated. She has been named a Super Lawyer by Milwaukee Magazine and has been recognized by the YWCA of the Coulee Region as an "Outstanding Woman" in the area of Business/Professional. She was also recently chosen to receive the State of Wisconsin's Business and Professional Women's "Woman of Inspiration" award at BPW's state convention.
